The August 2022 security update for the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has been rolled out in India. It can be identified by the firmware version V13.0.5.0.SKQINXM. It’s a minor software update which aims to boost the device security and privacy areas. Unfortunately, you won’t be getting any new features or performance improvements. As you might have expected, the changelog for the Redmi Note 10 Pro does not differ from that of the Mi 11 Lite. The latest Redmi Note 10 Pro update also brings the August 2022 security patch and nothing else. It is rolling out in the global market carrying the firmware version V13.0.12.0.RKFMIXM. Although the changelog is not too long, the package weighs over 3GB.

The August 2022 security patch fixes numerous vulnerabilities of different severity levels to enhance the data security and user privacy. If you’re a Redmi Note 10 Pro or Mi 11 Lite user from the specified region, the update might have already your phone. In case you have not received an update notification yet, go to Settings > About phone and tap on the MIUI logo to check for new updates.
